Minister of Youth and Sports Meets Federal Board Members of the Tunisian Judo Federation

📌 The Minister of Youth and Sports, Mr. Sadiq Morali, reviewed the situation of the Tunisian Judo Federation, its financial and logistical needs, and its preparation for upcoming international sporting events, notably the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Games. On Thursday, July 23, 2026, he received the federal board members represented by the federation president Mr. Iskandar Hachicha, the treasurer Mr. Mohamed Harhira, and the national coach Anis Lounifi.

👈 During the meeting, the minister highlighted that the supervising authority will increase grants allocated to clubs starting in 2027, delegating credits for the acquisition of specific equipment in line with international technical standards. He called on the Tunisian Judo Federation and all sports federations to target the most successful clubs and promising athletes to become future world and Olympic champions, such as Anis Lounifi, Nihal Chikhrouhou, and Faisal Jaballah.

He stressed that 2027 will be a pivotal year in terms of budget and athletes’ physical preparation, serving as a preparatory year for the 2028 Olympic Games, requiring proper provisions to achieve excellence and win medals.

🟢 The session was also attended by the board chairwoman Mrs. Nargis Balthifa, the General Sports Directorate official Mr. Ihsan Zouk, the sports structures director Mr. Mohamed Ali Nefzi, and several ministry officials.
